Minimum order: $150 (not including shipping)
Orders are shipped via FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT. The package should reach you by 10:30am. All live items (shipped within the US) are guaranteed to be alive when they reach you. However, you MUST be home at time of delivery, or guarantee is voided.
Livestock guarantee is 24 hours. If livestock arrives DOA, do not remove from the bag. Email a digital photo of the DOA to blackwateraquaria@cox.net within 2 hours of receiving the package, and we will provide credit on a future order.
You can also pickup fish from Blackwater Aquaria by appointment only.
I fast the fish for 24 hours prior to shipping. This reduces the amount of waste and ammonia secreted into the shipping water. All fish are bagged using 4 shipping bags, and I add Bag Buddies to help calm the fish and keep the ammonia levels down. I use pure Oxygen when bagging the fish. Fish are shipped in a styrofoam insulated box, with a heat pack when needed. The styrofoam insulated box is then put inside a cardboard shipping box.
Dry Goods
Dry goods and additives are shipped via USPS Priority Express. Weight limit - 65 lbs.
No cash refunds on dry goods, store credit only.
